Report; had to mind me 12 yr old nephew for a day as his mother was gone up the east of the country.i have tried so many times to bring him fishing but always at the last minute he wud pull out.so today i taught it wud happen but first i offered to bring him to the cinema as his mother had won 2 free tickets on a local radio station quiz.so we filled the van and left for the cinema stoppin off to dig some lugs.went to see the film "predators" which we both enjoyed as so did the other only 2 people in the screen room lol.left the cinema at 19.25pm and got to our mark at 21.00pm.i put out out 3 rods.2 for me and a piece of crap for him.

.we were gettin dogs all day and into the dark aswell as these wee small rocklings or bearded rocklings.there was loads of them.at 1 stage i struck a bite and was tryin to hold this fish on a cocktailed pulley rig but it was as if he was beating me.i cud feel him nudging and twisting but culdnt stir him and where i had casted the bait was between 2 platorms of weedy rocks that were down deep.my line snapped.bang.my intuition is maybe it was a conger.anyway i was delighted that we got some fish for me nephews sake.i personally hate catching dogs and wee rocklings but he taught this was great.then when the darkness came he loved the /head lite.on/off on/off lol.so at 23.30pm we packed up for a 2hr drive home.all he kept sayin on the way home was can i come again next time.when r we goin next time.etcso i think i have another beach caster on the go

.
just want to mention that the first doggie we caught was different than the others.thats why i put down bullhuss.i ment to take a pic of his belly.cause all sanddogs have white bellys but this fella had heavy black spoted markings on his belly.his eyes were different and he was definitely darker in colour than a normal sandog.wud i be right in sayin a small bullhuss.
