People:Myself
Duration:4 hours from 12 to 4
Tide:high around 12.30 or so
Weather:windy and choppy
Bait:Lug
Rigs:Long Range Wish Bone and 2 Hook Bomber
Results:8 Cod and 1 Pollack all good size.
Report:Very surprising result especially as I was pulling 2 in at once on a few occasions... Always Caught Cod here over the years but not that many in July....Wind direction had a part to play and of course the fact it was rough... One hairy moment was when something pulled my tripod over and when i wound her in a cod on my hook has its belly completely ripped out and obviously munched.... maybe a conger who knows!!!!

Am I right in thinking that getting to Limerick point is through a small housing estate? I assume getting to the point is an open path to the left of the small pier?.
Would appreciate your pictures, might help with finding the mark,if you don't mind

i know mate, me and the sister were doing brilliant despite rough conditions but had to leave because of the wind, eventually. it was heartbreaking because of the recent poor sessions/disasters/bad luck/kitchen sink thrown at us lately

We had left early but shore traffic kills me. I'm still R plated yet muppets in mini jeep things feel the need to do 30mph the entire shore length. My worry was getting done for kerbcrawling rather than speeding lol
Had a look and the point was too busy by that point for my liking so we decided to head to a secluded spot outside Cushendun. Andy caught two tiny flatties again and I drew a blank.
