Report: the lads arrived down from dublin around 10am, by 10.30 we were at a local mark,*quanns",

, got to the waters edge, graham approched me and asked, " do you wind it backwards or forwards"

, i suggested he try forward

he then asked what the "fishy thing on the end od the line was"

have you ever fished before i asked,

. yep,i was flyfishin 4 times he replyed,

on his 3th. pratice cast he hooked and laeded a 4lber, then asked what kinda of a fish is that

shortly after tom landed his first ever bass about 3ln,we continued to fish for about 2 hours in real summery weather,(wind n rain)

in the afternoon we went baitfishin to a very shallow reefy/sandy mark, first 3 casts i had 3 around 3 to 4lb, i then hooked a big fish then the effin reel locked up

, droped the rod and started to handline it in, the braid tangled round my fingers fish went wild line snapped

, then eoin hooked a fish that snagged in the weeds..........gone.....
