Baits- Various- mackerel, lug, whites, maddies, maggots and bread
Rigs- Various
Results- 6 Mullet (Small), 9 Mackerel, 1 Flounder, 12 Codling, 2 Coalies, 8 Shannies and Black Goby
Report-
hit the mullet mark on saturday evening, managed 4 small mullet, good craic on the maggots, the next day in hit a coarse venue with a few roach, rudd and hybrid, in the evening i hit the mullet mark again, nothing, so i hit the mullet mark again with the fly rod and managed my first fly caught mullet of the year. drew and i headed out boat fishing that evening, today i hit the mullet mark to float fish for flounders, no flounders but managed another small mullet, i hit the peir after and managed coalies, codling, flounder, shannies, black goby and macks, a nice bit of fishing for a few days!!!!

. that was some fishing you got done. how did you do on the boat? was it a mackie trip or were you targeting anything else?

Mackerel, scad, pollack, whiting, coalies and codling, quinton had a haddock. wasn't too bad....

cheers lads. i am certainly cleaning up on those small mullet this year, just want them to ease down til i get some more bigger ones!!!
