Duration:18:45 to 23:00

Tide:low 22:48 1.2m

Weather:dry with light breeze

Bait:feathers,sandeel,mackerel

Rigs:feathers,3 hook flapper

Results:26 mackerel,4 thornback ray,6 dogfish,2 whiting




Report:i headed back to the mark i tried the other evening to see what it would be like on a different stage of the tide

started off with a thornback ray

then followed by 2 thornback ray and a whiting

had a few dogs a bit later

the mackerel only started as the tide got lower

thanks conor,no railing at this mark,its a new mark i tried and i can get down to the shore easy,i will try the railing spot soon to see what it like

Sweet nice to find a new mark that produces the goods should be a few fish in at the railing mark now i'd say..... was out that way recently but not fishing saw a few nice rays a 8/9lb huss discarded along with large edible crabs and a few pollack left to rot in tangle nets just makes no sense was very surprised with the big edible crabs you'd think they'd have a market for them if they're targeting spider crabs...

will try it soon,should be plenty of ray around there by now,i heard that the crabs are not selling good at the moment i did see rays dead in a harbour last weekend

hi damian give me a shout when you are around and i will show you how to get to my huss mark,there was a nice 8lb huss caught not far from your spot a few weeks back
