Report: Arrived on the rocks in perfect t shirt weather, fishing as it should be

and pulled in a couple mackeral as bait is sometimes usefull at this fishing game. Mick of course wouldn't count them as they were bait and not a catch

He was first in with a flounder and after what seemed like an age I followed with a small Dab about 24cm with the biggest ugliest eyes I've ever seen

Micks wish list for the evening was plaice and spent the evening persistently targeting them while I kept one rod scratching and one bait out for conger to feed my fascination of them. Needles to say mick pulled in a conger on a size 1 hook baited with lug

while my scratching rigs pulled in 2 plaice much to his frustration

One of micks flounder had quite a lot of sea lice, much more so than normal, they must be breeding more in all this warm weather were having
all in all a very enjoyable session and home again at a reasonable time, everybody happy
