People:Myself and Davy ( Carp angler )
Duration:21.00 - 02.00
Tide:ht - 22.30ish
Weather:purrfick !
Bait:rag, mackeral, sandeel, bluey
Rigs:2 hook flappers
Results:me 14 lsd's, 1 huss, 2 coalies, 3 dabs , 1 whiting
Davy 6 coalies, 7 lsd's , 1 pollock , 1 codling
Report:Had one of those days on Sunday, so we had a load of bait left over. We hit Waterfoot pier in plenty of time before the high tide. At 1st things were slow, with only a handful of small coalies to show . As the tide flooded, and the light started to fade, so the bites began to increase . By the time we hit high water, the dogs moved in in force and we had a frantic spell from about midnight 'til 2 in the morning. Nothing to win any awards, but a real good craic !
