Report:
Headed to a well known west cork mark today for some sun and some relaxing fishing, stopped at halfway on the way to pick up some frozen crabs for the wrasse. Started fishing about 13.00 itss amazing the missus seems to have a fetish for tiny pollack as she duly landed two as i was struggling with the wrasse, used up all the crabs and lost 3 rigs

done know what i was doing wrong

. So i switched over to the lures for some pollack and to see if any macks were about zero macks, i got two tiny pollack, moved a little further down the rocks, i was using my light spinning rod rated to 60g with a abu garcia 40g Koster lure and 20lb power pro braid, i was starting to think that the plague of tiny pollack would continue until i got SMASHED and my heart almost jumped out of my chest, it turned out to be a pollack of 3lbs but i have never had one fight like this it was incredible, the light rod and braid transmitted every detail of the fight.........amazing a quick photo and back he went

, left the rocks to try a mullet mark that proved successful last year, got there got the mullet feeding on bread but they kept swimming upto the hook bait, nudge it and move away any thoughts on this?? didnt hook up and headed home great day though brillaint company

sun and some fish.
Tight lines.
