Duration:12:45 - 15:30

Tide:High Tide + 2 and a bit after

Weather:Over Cast (No Rain!!)

Bait:N/a

Rigs:Wedge lure - Feathers

Results:3 Pollock

Report:Saturday afternoon I had the oppurtunity of some fishing so I grabbed my telescopic rod and was dropped off at Tragumna (7km From Skibbereen).
I went to the right hand side of the bay. Being as i dont know the area or easy routes to further down i stopped 400 metres down sort of opposite the beinning of the island (ish).
I made a few casts with a 28g silver "turbo wedge". No bites but always worth a try. So i switched to Mackerel feathers and a lawn mower spark plug (fed up of loosing weights). Just when I thought i was going to draw ablank a nice pollock decided to take the feathers.
I caught 2 more pollock and they were alot smaller. I put them all back on from this trip. I learnt two valuable lesson from this trip...
1. There are lots and lots of baby mussells here... (is here any fish that eat them i can try for).
2. Never stand on seaweed when spinning.. Almost ended up on my bum.
