Report: Having not got out fishing for about a month (thats about 6 months in fisherman years) so I was mad keen to get out and wet a line. It seemed like a great evening for a bumper session. I was first off the mark with a pb plaice at 32cm

mick pulled in a gurnard after that it was pretty much dog city with 5 or 6 each. I landed a small dab at 22cm with great big ugly eyes. With nothing but dogfish, attacking rag lug and mack, I decided to put out a mackeral head for a conger down the side of the rocks

and the waiting began

Meanwhile Mick managed a birds nest

on a cast and wound in immedietely fearing that he may have landed in the weed

he sat down on the edge of the rocks and dropped his weight and rigs down the side to unwind and sort out the birds nest, and during this period of about 3 minutes the conger I was fishing for attacked his 1.0 hook tipped with mackeral

and he duely landed it

and began explaining to me how best to fish for conger
Sorry no photos as I cant seem to get my laptop to recognise the files from my phone/camera, I know reports with photos are nicer
