Report: Well, after filling a bucket of peeler and rags yesterday morning and buying a new reel yesterday afternoon, I decided to go and see if some smoothounds have made their way up to North Dublin.
Warm weather,flat sea and nothing ... Not even a crab
Hope it won't be long as last year they were already there

Put a few sessions in and you'll be rewarded, there are a few showing - just gotta know where 
Tides havent be good this last week, but next week is bang on for evening fishing a rising tide into darkness - give it another go during the week and I'd say you have a good chance.

Yes, you're right the tides are perfect next week ... Usually I prefer fishing for them at night, but last year at this time I have caught some on the flood early morning ... Unfortunately this morning was very bright even early ...
