Report: Well, after filling a bucket of peeler and rags yesterday morning and buying a new reel yesterday afternoon, I decided to go and see if some smoothounds have made their way up to North Dublin.
Warm weather, flat sea and nothing ... Not even a crab
Hope it won't be long as last year they were already there :?

Put a few sessions in and you'll be rewarded, there are a few showing - just gotta know where

Tides havent be good this last week, but next week is bang on for evening fishing a rising tide into darkness - give it another go during the week and I'd say you have a good chance.

Yes, you're right the tides are perfect next week ... Usually I prefer fishing for them at night, but last year at this time I have caught some on the flood early morning ... Unfortunately this morning was very bright even early ...
Well, it makes me tidy up my sea gear and try my new reel ... :)
