Results:8 mackerel,2 dogfish,14 pollack 6 coalfish




Report:I didn't get going until late,had to take the wife shopping and my good deed for the day paid off when i went fishing,I headed to the small pier that I took the 2 Germans to yesterday,they didn't want to go fishing tonight,they said they were too tired,bet they will be sorry when i show them the photos tomorrow

when i arrived on the pier i set up one rod with the pulley pennel rig baited with mackerel and then started using the feathers on the other rod after a few cast the fun started i got 4 mackerel first and then 3 then 1 after the mackerel stopped the pollack and coal fish started
all were very small but great to see them back in
then the other rod started nodding and I reeled in the first dog fish took a quick photo and put him back and cast out again I didn't even re bait so I could get back to the feathers quick

had a few more pollack and then had another dog fish,was a very good session and good to get my first mackerel and pollack and coalfish of the year,it wont be my last time going to that pier this year

thanks lads,I wish every 3 hours I put in were like that,its was great to have a good session like that after having a blank less then 24hrs before at the same mark

thanks noel,I am fed up of the ray bashing now so i am going to try mackerel bashing instead this year,so far have managed to avoid the ray this year,they are only a nuisance
