We got down at 7.15pm, first cast i managed a 24cm codling, nothing happened much until a bit later on, my brother and his mates left at 9.30pm got the next bite at aroung 9.50pm and managed a double shot with a Flounder and a Coalie, this was followed by 3 Coalies, after this i lost a good fish which i would say was probably a SeaTrout, after this managed another 2 Flounders, followed by a Rockling, the next cast threw up 3 Flounders and last cast on both rods threw up a Flounder on each. all in all a great session, and i was happy to get a good amount of Flounders and Coalies, good to get a nice Coalie at 29cm which is a nice Coalie for Millisle Beech. this session showed me that the fishing can be very poor at the start of a session but just as soon as that light goes then the fish can just suddenly start feeding.
