Only getting around to making this report now..
Got tho the mark around 1.30 , at low tide. Things were very slow for the first hour and a half, and danny not being a full time obsessed angler like myself was beggining to get impatient. We seen a pair of otters in the distance with the odd sea trout jumping clear of the water.. I reisured danny that ive the best of faith in the mark which ive pulled up to 10 thornbacks in session from. All of a sudden my rod tip started to rattle. I left it about half a minute then stuck into the fish.. I was shocked a the result a fine sea trout on bloody manky old frozen mackeral on a 4/0 hook!!!

It was my first every sea trout and first fish of the year. I was elated with excitment was never expecting a sea trout to hit a bait intended for ray and huss. It clocked up 1.8lb on the scales

the fish was quickly returned to the sea. Good few dogfish started to come in after this, and we contineud to fish until half 6 and desided to pack up when the tide was limiting our space on the shore. Was expecting a fe w thornies to show up first time ive fished the mark and not caught one, but another few weeks shold sort that one out. All and all a good days fishing me thinks
