people; me and the aul fella
bait; rag/lug/squid
tide; rising/falling
duration; 4pm 12.30am
weather; cracking.

The aul fella dug bait on the friday fair play so meet him saturday afternoon ouside jack whites and off we went,got too the beech and it was packed small opening between the beach goers off too one end so we got the gear out and off we went.(after we waited too get parking spaces)
the aul fella was first in the water with his new rod and a grin from ear too ear (the rod was sitting in the hall for months teasing him)
I was a few mins behind as it was tipping off rag wit squid and only in the water a couple of mins and a small coalie about 6" (15cm)
nothing over the next few hours except the aul fellas grin getting straighter and straighter and evenualy turning into a frown.....
As it got dark we got some more bits a couple of micro cod 2 micro flats and 2 dogs.
The beach was jammers as it got dark the beach was like a run way with head lights supprised something didn't land on the beach never seen it that packed.
Dropped the rag up too the lads left of me as I was going they seemed too be getting a few dogs small cod.
Anyway great too get out and how times have changed I bring the old man with me now....

ye its always good to get out, I still have to try Ennarreilly this year, wel done lads
