WEATHER very calm and warm

RESULT me 1 flounder 1 dab 1 small pollock 1 small whiting 1 small cod 2 five bearded rockling
my cousin 4th blank in a row
my mate 1 doggie
we decided to give glenarm beach a fish as the weather had been good for the last few days and there have been reports of flatties being caught lately. we arrived around 7.45 and were fishing for 8pm there was already some guy fishing in front of the lights at the police station were i would normaly fish

so i decided to fish just in front of the car park. fishing was slow to start but it gave me a chance to give my new reel which my cousin bought me that day a few casts to tighten up the new line and get a feel for it.

I caught first with the smallest pollock you have ever seen but a fish all the same. Meanwhile my cousin was hoping to break his last 3 blanks with a fish with no luck even with his new penn affinity twin tip and knew reel £300 well spent

. Fishing was very slow a few flatties and rockling and and really small cod for me and alot of carb bites was all we could manage oh and a doggie for my mate who was fishing with a broken foot.
Hope things pick up soon
no pic's this time as nothing was worth taking camera out for.
