Report:headed out for a while to search for a few flats stayed close to home first then inch no fish in inch first venue proved successful.First cast only settled on bottom when rod went thinking i picked some drifting weed i left it a few minutes while readying second rod finished baiting looked up thats not weed i thought positive knock cast out quick and reeled in

game on aa flounder a good one 46cm.rebait and cast again and within minutes bang good bite slack line 48cm flounder 1.05 kg just shy magical number.fishing slowed then managed to pick up two more after moving 45cm 46cm two other fish dropped on way in and that was it crab invasion.all in all a good session fine fish and definitely a good sign of things to come

those are cracking flounder ,were they very thin ,i had 1 of 41cms last sunday and it was only back from spawning it was wafer thin,great season

Well done, some great flounder. 48 cm flounder is a fine fish.
