only fished it for 3 hours once and had nothing, but we fished it at low water 3 days into a torrential downpour

. so i was'nt to optomistic to be honest. but it looks well fishy and would be worth a go on the flooding tide

you have the rocks to your left and a big sandy open beach to your right and a good lug bed just under your feet

. like i said it has all the conditions that just shouts fish at you

. as you come through termonfeckin on the R166 just head straight up the road to clogherhead. take the turn before the one that takes you down to port oriel, you'll see the signpost for the lifeboat station on the main road any how. there's a wee carpark that looks onto the beach and you just fish there

. it was pouring down when we were there so we just sat in the car watching for bites. well handy
