Report: Well, here goes my 1st ever report!! Hadnt been sea fishing in a few weeks so decided to get out and wet the lines for a few hours. Was a toss up between going to dalkey or going to greystones, couldnt decide so split it down the middle and went to bray!! Had only fished here once before so hadnt a clue what to expect, so picked up some mackeral off boycie and got some lug in Viking. Got there and decided to just use the spinning rod and fish just a few feet out. Payed off straight away with the first fish a pretty good sized Flounder (i think it was a flounder anyway!!)

, then the crabs took over and i must have had at least 15 - 16 of the feckers. Moved up onto the top wall then and lobbed the bait a few feet out again, and for the next while was kept pretty busy with the small pollacks and coalies and codlings and 1 pretty decent looking cod. The weather started to turn then so i started to pack up, and when i went to pull the rod in it started to bite a bit. And when i got it in, to my suprise, there was 2 sea scorpions on it

. I have never caught one of these little beauties before so wasnt actually sure what it was to be honest. Rang up the boycie fella and sent him a picture of it, to be told it was 2 sea scorpions. So a first for me and it was a double, so was pretty chuffed with myself on that 1. When i took the hook out of the larger one's mouth (it was 1 large one and a baby one), a small half eaten one was in its mouth. Think i'll just call it a treble!!!
So all in all, was probably my best days fishing so far, so roll on summer!!!
