Great night actually, discovered tonight if there is a Shore Rockling within a mile of a black lug bait, It shall find it, and it shall eat it. Bites were frequent and the craic was good.
Notable moments for the night were the appearance of Warren and his friend, Who were using salted herring, they weren't catching anything so I let them use our Mackeral and a couple of my Rigs, within minutes they too were in on the Rockling raid, with Warrens friend getting a small 3 beard and the 2nd biggest shorey I've seen on Donaghadee Pier at 31cm.
Dan was on a huge rockling run with loads and loads of Shories munching the black lug baits... He also caught the mother of all brown crabs! lol... Should have taken it home and eaten it, but didn't, it was returned.
All in all, 2 Hours hectic fun fishing!
Heading up the antrim coast tonight! Can't actually wait!
