Since thursday was a bit of a break from the weather we've been having decided to order bait an head out friday evening accompanied by the oul fella who hasnt been fishing in over a year.Picked the bait up friday afternoon from henrys an heade towards greystones that evening hoping to arrive just as the tide was turning. It was a nice night a bit breezy but fishable and the rods were started to rattle almost instantly with mixtures of small codling and whiting all night with the odd double shot every couple of casts. Right before we packed up there was an viscious bite on me da's rod that with the tip slammin over but by the time he got to it whatever it was had pulled the lead out of the bottom an dropped the hook he was sick

a bit of the 1 the got away to it but thats wat happened(maybe a sign of bass in the area)
