Report:got down to the mark and new something was up when i notice a burnt out ford jeep in my normall parking spot,even though i was a bit nervous i got ready and walked down to the beach and set up, over to my right a fire was burning and three rough lookin lads where laughing and using obscene language ,every time i pulled in a fish they started making jokes about how small they where ,as soon as i got a decent one they came over to me and asked if they could have to eat ,needless to say i gave it to them ,the smell off them was so bad i decided to pack up also a few rats kept trying to rob my bait so i gave up and packed up ,i wont be back down there in a hurry i,ll tell ya! :twisted:

Story bud ....you should have come over bud ....we were only buzzin off ya :lol: :lol: Whats the craic rodge,you using them new 10 hook flappers again :wink: Thats the last thing ya want to see is a shell of a car in your parking spot :shock: Any size to the coalies,there always seems to be a few around the south beach.

hows it going clown fish the coalies where like a shoal of mac ,i think them hobos got a few too :lol: sorry lads i took one look at the pic and hobo was the first thing that came into my head :lol: thats john ,drummer and tony :lol: and tony was the one eating bbq coaly :mrgreen: the rats and burnt out jeep were real though!

hi stephen its not really speed fishing ,they where very small and i targeted them with small hooks ,an underarm flick just at the back of the first wave, pob 18 inch deep ,size 6 hooks with a slither of mac or squid and you will normally pull in two or 3 at a time,you just put on new bait if they pull it off :oops: keeps me busy while my 2/0 pennel is out at distance not getting a sniff,last year i had good coalies using this method up to 38 cm but they are nowhere to be seen this year :roll:
