Report:I was thinking about fishing the Great Island shore competition at De Wall this Mon night viewtopic.php?f=24&t=25696 , and decided to get a bit of practice in. As it turned out there was a meeting of Cobh SAC called so that put paid to the comp for me. Sorry about that JohnW  . Nevertheless, I had a good night.

From the oft I started getting fish. The first cast resulted in a double shot of fish and from thereon it was pretty continuous (despite the easterly wind :D ). The fish were a better stamp than the previous night with most above 30cm and a few touching 38cm. I put up a few pics below of the better fish.

Things look good for this weekend's light line comp with plenty of fish still showing. If anyone's interesting in fishing I have more details here viewtopic.php?f=24&t=25759 . We've two boats almost full and it looks like we may need to book a third :D .

If you were a bit closer to Cork ya mighta been able to fish it  .
