Ah now Noel, ya can't blame me for matt picking up johns rod and reeling in HIS bass, and it nice to know you mentioned the bites you got, even I had a few dropped fish as well as a few missed bites...
And at least you now know one of my spots for lug!! So not a total loss eh!!

:( I can feel your pain Noel, but maybe you're wishing too hard? Try the Zen approach and play hard to get yourself...

I know that venue very well - in my hardier days I lived 10 months in a caravan behind those dunes and nearly got bored with the bass there - but there were no schoolies in the winter, thats an encouraging development. Congrats to the catchers.

Bad luck Noel. Catching bass is like making babies, the harder you try, the less likely it seems to be to happen. Stop trying so hard, enjoy your fishing and the bass will come!

Hard luck Noel, God loves a trier. Its only a matter of time before you get one, maybe this year, or the next, or the one after  at least you know they are there :)
