Report:Got down the slipway at around 11am set up with our crappy travel tripod cast out lost 2 sets of gear that was pretty much it my first fishing trip in ireland was a failure but i met some nice people from the site so not all bad. then chris showed up came down and had a chat gave us some advice then he said he was gonna go get his rods 30 mins later he is back with his brother and thier lovely zziplexes got up on the rocks and cast out. he told us tha it would fish when the sun goes down and what do you know he was right we got some bites but we were on big hooks chris and his brother got some fish nothing of any size though. Anyways chris took our massive squid back to freeze so hpe it serves you well. ill give you a shout next time we are over and hopefully it will be warmer and we can have some conger out and pollock

P.S Duffy's tackle and guns were extremly unhelpful however dunnes stores fishmongers were helpfull

hard luck on the blank lads,give us a shout next time ye are in galway and we will show ye some good spots,corrib tackle is much better by the way.

sorry kaylem never actually realised it was you,
ye next time we will have the van over and we can have a proper bash at it with no restrictions was good though learnt me a place to fish
couldnt find corrib tackle i found the old shop in the harbour but the bloke in the out door shop said it was in an industrial estate, never mind
back in england now got in last night with a mammoth of a drive back from holyhead be over some time in the summer now, where hopefully i will catch some good fish!
