Report:

Got to Donaghadee for about 5.40pm, Place seemed unusually busy but we set up regardless 2 Guys were fishing already, and we set up in a less than ideal spot on the inside corner, had a couple of small pouting and Whiting here.

The place got busier then it clicked, it was the Christmas Fair and Santa was coming on the Lifeboat!!! lol... So at 6.30 the Lifeboat came into the harbour with Santa riding on the bow, Flares lighting him up for all the kids to see. Took a good 20 minutes for the procession of Kids, Slay, Santa, Band, and Floats to leave the pier, and the other 2 guys packed up.

So finally Dan and I had the usual spots and were being plague by the usual miriad of species that regularly show up in Donaghadee, was fishing long bottom snoods to try to pick up a flounder but instead managed a good whiting of around 25cm, Meanwhile Dan had the conger rod out, but no interest, he did pick up a few codling and a Coaly though....

Meanwhile I was in Rockling City and had 5 or 6 shories.
Finished up with a nice bag of fish, Probably about 30 Fish in all, Nice way to spend a Friday night while the girlfriends away... lol.
