unfrtunatley the fish on the chopping board is definitely a flounder, a good weay to tell them apart is to rub your finger backwards along their back. a dabs skin is rough rubbed this way whereas a flounders in smooth. also the lateral line of a dab takes a sharp semi circle turn around the pelelvic fin, a flounders does not. it a nice sized flounder though

Well I always just went by if its a mix of orange spots and a small shade of black its a dab but a flounder has only black markings. I'm sorry Eric but I'm still certain its a dab but will let you know when we eat itTheres more of a fishy taste off the flounder than the dab me da finds. Personnally I'm not a fan of either
