spent six days down with family so fishing time at a premium, pier was quiet, fished head of pier dusk onwards for 3 hours up, not a touch, viaduct gave odd dog on bottom, small pollock and herring on shrimp rig. saw odd mullet around boats, no luck for conger unusually. maybe just too early, so am meeting pals at shannon airport mid june and can't wait! ps had a 2 lb 4oz turbot :shock: back of golf course beach low water, but blanked there 3 times also, conditions ideal for bass and flounder but had neither on mackerel lug and sandeel :? . it used to produce reasonably. 2 dublin lads was chatting to me on beach but i forgot to ask if they are on webite, any ideas?
