people me and john

duration 9.30 am - 8 pm
tide low at 10
rigs everthing
bait mack lug rag and a freshly caught crab
weather windy as a mother

result sea trout dab flounder

myself and john decide to have a wee day out to clear the head and get the swineflu out of me
dug worms in sligo and headed to strand hill with great notions of loads of fish thankfully i didn't jinx myself by not talking about great expectations of catching fish unfortunately john did.
on my first cast 2 minutes out hook a wopper of a sea trout that rattled my rod like crazy even with a 10 oz lead on brought it to the waters edge and got excited and let the strain off and the blither swam off , 4 hours later got a good rattle and landed a nice sea trout about a lb no scales and then spent about 20 minutes trying to convince the fecker to go back to sea.

and then all quite till 5 i landed a wee dab the a flounder adn then a dab cold and wind torn we headed home unfortunately john blanked but a good day out
