Report:
Arrived about 7.10pm and set up about 400 yards to the left of
of the carpark. There was very little tidal run and seems to be
no weed about. Every cast for the two hours produced a fish,
epesially on the sandeel, of which seemed to the present as
gulls feed on them from the shoreline. The peeler and rag
accounted for the flat fish and doggies came to what ever was
put in front of them. We used two hook running boom rigs
which proved to be killer and also pulley pennell rigs to see
could we catch an early smoothound or ray, but the baits
meant for these were mostly picked by doggies.
