Duration: 12am - 3pm
Tide:rising tide
Weather:Very windy(direct in face) but dry and sunny
Bait:King Rag, Mack and Squid
Rigs:3 flapper
Results:6 Doggies, 1 Dab, 2 coalies and 13 Pollock
Report: Arrived immediately hit in the face with a serious gale. Only would have a few hours so decided to stay put and with the pier to ourselves we setup tying our tripods to the rails!!
Setup first rod with 3 flapper with mackeral and the second rod with mackerel with squid tipped on lower two flappers, both with grippers. Due to the wind we weren't able to manage any real distance max 50 yrds.Within minutes the first rod was in with a lovely 1lb dab and then started the pollock

, Some upto 2lb or very close! Then my mate started in the doggies and pollock also. It went mad with the four rods for about 60 mins then as quick as it started it stopped. Near the end 2 coalies were got and the time came to leave to go to the childminders! But i still managed a short look along the stones at the start of the pier for lost tackle and managed to get myself a nice shakespear yellow and white float.
All in all a good few hours to clear the bait from last night!
