Report:
Planned this trip earlier in the week and met at the mark around 2.30.Made the trek and arrived at our spot around 2.50.Quickly set up our tackle and got fishing around 3 o,clock and i remembered the Coysers clever advice of keeping it simple

Small hooks on 2 hook and 3 hook flappers catch more fish and species.Because i have being gettin lots of stick lately for the size of hooks 4/0s mainly and monster sized baits i,ve been using ,and wondering why i haven,t been catching more fish.
So you were right Tony small hooks do work

so why didnt you take your own advice and use smaller hooks you would have caught as much fish as me.
All in all it was a great days fishing my most enjoyable and successful yet with plenty of big bass patrolling the area in clear view at times which we tried to target but with no luck due to a massive seal keeping us company for the whole session, even into darkness. We actually believe he spoiled a bigger catch for us due to his presence ,but thats life he was entitled to be there just as much as us.(how do you go about reporting somebody playing fetch with a seal is this normal behaviour for a human being,

only joking tony)
Won,t get into who caught what and sizes etc etc except that i caught a beauty of a flounder and the coyser with the biggest Dab i,ve ever seen
We finally gave up the ghost as the tide was coming in on top of us big and strong nearly knocking me over at one stage and knocking over my tripod ,i taught i had a whopper on the end of my line as i through out a macks head on my last cast. What would we be without wishful thinking

So we packed up after another enjoyable session for me and the coyser and dumped the last of our quality bait out into the sea in the hope that the fish will return here in search for another lunch on us.
Will definitely be back here fishing in the next 2 weeks hopefully in time for the big codling and coalies as the water still seems to be a bit on the warm side.
Cheers to the Coyser
