date- 15 october 2009
people- me
duration- 2 hrs
tide- push
weather- nice
methods- fly
flies- bread fly and some pink thing
results- 1 mullet, 6 pollack and a new PB and a coalie
report-
today i decided that i would give a mark in millisle a blast, i got down and got a half pounder first cast, i got another 2 about the same size, a shoal of mullet moved in and i managed one very quickly, but they carried on torturing me for a further 20 odd minutes. i then got a very nice pollack at 3lb 8oz, which was such a great fight on the wee light trout rod, i then missed a very nice fish, i then got another 2 pollack, one at 1.5lbs and another at 3/4 of a pound. i finished on a small coalies of about 5oz. all in all a great session with my first fly caught mullet and a pb fly caught pollack.
