dug some bait as the tide came in and enjoyed the light of the full moon. headed to dublin bay, southside in hope of a bass or two and that i got.
it took nearly an hour for the first fish, around 50cm (no camera tonight!)
good scrap but felt smaller on the retrieve, then another hour before the second of the night.
this was around 40cm and scrapped like a monster, even on release he objected to everything i did to help him on his way!
i missed a few big bites but was well happy to add 2 to my bass tally especially as i'm not fishing in wexford!
