People: Me and vinnycorrigan

Duration: 1830-2200

Tide: LT ~ 2130

Weather: Mild, light breeze

Bait: Lug, mack

Rigs: Various

Results:Pollack, coalfish, tompot blenny, flounder, mackerel

Report: Short session on Spiddal pier, was picking up small pollack and coalies from the off. Vinny had a nice tompot blenny. Towards dusk a shoal of mackerel came in and we bagged up on bait to freeze for the autumn, filled half a coolbox in a few minutes.
Headed to Silverstrand after a pitstop in Supermacs for chips, mmm. Very little surf and the tide was a good bit out, but Vinny picked up 2 nice flounder between 27-30cm on lug and fresh mack. Nothing but crabs at my baits. Enjoyable session though, good craic.
