Report:Fished Buncrana for an hour and a half with nothing happening

so headed over to Port Salon as I aint fished it in a long time. Fished over the wall with a good chunk of bluey and squid and hadn't got a second rod in the water when the first started to bounce wildly

. In come a good size doggie,

lovely marked and light in colour. Both rods over the wall and being greedy set up a third for conger which was dropped in close to peir amongst a lot of ground bait.

Within minutes this rod got that familar wee nod and I struck it hard so as not to hook the bugger deep, too quick seemingly, he let go at the surface

. For the next hour or so the rods took it in turn to produce doggies and then I got a nice long slow pull to produce a lovely chunky plaice 35cms. Pan or release kept goin through my head as I carefully unhooked him

hoping on another it was quickly released and no more followed

due to a phone call from the one to be obeyed, had to head home cutting short a very enjoyable session.
