sligo bass...

went to fished sunday night for bass but the weather was so cruel and the beach was covered with weeds but still hoping to catch my first bass of the year. minutes turn to hours but no bass instead i caught flatties on a lug worm

so i transferred to another spot at Mullaghmore harbor, first cast resulted with flatfish and green eel. second cast produced small cod,collie and scorpion fish



and today i went to my fav spot caught loads of small corkwing wrasse and ballan wrasse,
5 dogfish and lost 2 conger

Some good fishin there Zeke, hard luck on the conger, they're tricky devils!!

Aughris Head can throw big ones and lug worms is the best bait ATM

try Aughris Head a bit of walk but worth it

thanks mate i think he missed the hook, i could see him rolling and lifted him a foot off the water he fell off
