Report:
up early and Finally got a few hrs on the boat to stock up on mack

, fair play to Donal on the Leah at Killala - another group meant to be goin had canceled - but he went out anyway with just me

- real gentleman - lots of macks, and donal foulhooked a launce which was added to the days bait.
with the macks iced up tried a beach where i had saw lots of lug in july - place had totally changed - and barely a lug in sight. had a few casts but nada
went scouting - hit a very nice beach, - a bit early - maybe last hr of the drop - nothing happened till the tide started pushing and got a crackin 39cm flounder on mack and squid, gave it another good while - lots of Gulls diving - just- out of casting range ( about 1,000 yards away

) baits were getting stripped - not sure if it was crabs or mini fish - didnt land any crabs or see any bites

, conditions looked good - but i realised i was knackered, my arm hurt from hauling mackies, and i still had a fair drive home - so called it a day and crawled home-
heres the blank saving flounder - 4oz weight beside him for scale ,
