Sligo ROCK....

went out yesterday to my favorite mark to wet the line,it's almost 2 weeks i did'nt go out due to my wife condition(she's under go tonsillectomy surgery)...so i miss alot of lovely sunshine arrived there and armed with two rods and bucket of baits,newly dug lug worms,mackerel and squid...rigs i used my home made four boom paternoster,first cast with lug,mackerel and squid...in just a few minutes i can see the rod tip bouncing loads of fish down there and lug worms do the damage.

Your plaice, is what we east coast anglers call a west coast plaice aka Platichthys flesus......just a plain old flounder sorry zeke

well done zeke, some nice fish there but im afraid i agree with shamoo,thats a flounder hope the wife recovers quickly.

you're very right mate,unhooking small fish is pain in the nick i smash the barb so that i can released the fish with minimal damage

thanks buddy....i read davyp report mannn that's a clunker of a BASS ,i went to mullaghmore today and caught loads of small collies and codling.i'll give a go on saturday for bass hunt
