Myself, Adam and Alan
2pm to 9pm
4pm
Sunny
Rag, Mack, Squid, Feathers
Me: 2 codling: Alan: 1 dead and mangled codling. Alan: Velvet crab.
Hit Kilcoole at about 2pm. Caught the incoming tide. Fished it for about 4 hours. Alan was on the retrieve and started to dance a jig on account we had blanked on previous two outings. Upon closer inspection, a codling had been torn asunder as he was reeling in, so unsure if it counted. Alan brought in a clump of weed and the crab fell from it. Again not sure if that counts.
So we moved to Killiney. It was grand and calm and hoped to pick up some flats or perhaps a smoothie. My rod got a couple of small rattles as I was having a cuppa coffee and a rasher sambo. So decided to leave it be. When I did reel in two small codling. Ah well, can always say it was not three strikes and we were out.
Third time on the trot the East coast has let us down. Heading into the wilds of the West next trip.

Thanks Mitch..
We'll give the West a shot next time and maybe return to Kilcoole at a later date to fish the low tide...
