Report:due to huge surf a rock fishing session for smoothies and huss was scrapped and bass became the quarry alby shane and dennis got down first with me fourth and the two youngsters down last ,alby got off the mark with a bass ,first cast for me produced a lively 40 cm bass,with good surf and no weed things looked good for a belter of a session,boy was that wrong a few flounder and a few small coalies arrived to keep up interest but the two younglads has bass goggles on and packed up to try somewhere else at 9.45 .things went dead for the next while and at 11 the others where heading home,i pledged to stay till 12 hw and then go no sooner had the lads gone and my distance rod started to scream as the line came off the spool struck into the fish and had a great fight only to pull a nice 6-7 lb smoothy out of the surf over the next hour two more smoothy,s (about same size)two small bass 35cm amd 30cm two flounder and a doggy hit the beach i ran out of bait at 11.55 packed up and headed home all on me own poor dodger no mates (apologees for pics my camera was at home charging )
