Glenarm / Waterfoot Pier

Having seen loads of mullet in the harbour the day before and as I'd never fished or caught one before I thought I would give it a go. On arrival I checked to see they were still there. They were and in good numbers so I started feeding them. Got them feeding well and using one of the kids rods with 6lb line plopped it in. They nosed it, played with it but darned if they would take it :  Rebaited and tried again, no sooner had it hit water and float dissapeared :D Easy I thought, should have tried this before. Missed  Several times this happened until I could no longer see the float and give up. Still no darned irritating Mullet to my credit :x Went to Waterfoot Pier not expecting to get on but as only one other guy on it set up 2 rods. Within minutes a doggie on the bank. This was followed by 2 small coalie. The other guy getting a doggie and a flounder. After 2 more doggies and several more coalie to myself and a codling and several doggie to the other guy I called it a night, having saved on a blank and went home :D
