Pickings just as thin up here these days, GF. We were out in the boat twice in the last 5 days and the catch was so poor I'd be ashamed to post a report. Fish must've moved south.

unfortunately they have not, tried Ballyvaughan and Blackhead on Tuesday and Wednesday, dead as a Dodo.
Nice fishing there GF, wish I would have been so lucky, but nothing, nada, zilch, good that there is always Monks Pub

Ive said before and Ill say it again, have you ever seen a more beautiful fish than a mack, I got few in westport the other day and its been a year but the colours and the silver! how much would a taxidermist charge?

not sure about the price for Mackerel, but for Rainbow Trout, which is about the same size you can expect to pay around €200, give or take.
Here a link to a taxidermist from Austria, I know him well and he is one of the best, works for all the Austrian museums, site is in german lingo unfortunately but it's easy to browse the fishy pictures
