People:me and ruxt

Duration:21.30 till 22.30

Tide:half hour before full

Weather:shocking

Bait:crab mac

Rigs:pulley and flapper

Results: 6 lb bass

Report:had to go to plan b as the first beach we got to was unfishable due to weed set up on backup beach by 9.30 nothing for the first half hour so i switched from pulley rig to a 4/0 flapper baited with fresh crab cast it out just behind the breaking waves and ten minutes later my rod buckled over fish on bit of a struggle to get it through surf gave a great scrap before i could beach it unhooked fish and sent the bait out again in search of more weighed the bass 6 lb bang on lovely start hopes were high for another fish but not too be as the weed started to take over the beach tried to fish on but it was pointless every cast was a real struggle to retrieve so packed up and headed home not a bad result for a short session 8)
