Rigs:Sliding float
Results: Me- 4 pollock, 1 wrasse. Tommy- 5 wrasse, 1 pollock
Report:Decided to choose a mark close to home, tried a Bangor rock mark for a little under an hour without a bite between the two of us. It may have picked up but I didn't want to risk it so Orlock was next on the radar. Arrived at Orlock to flat calm conditions, one of those days that its a joy to fish the float. Fishing was slow to start, probably an hour before the first fish was landed by Tommy, a big wrasse. We both continued to get lots of hits on the float but just weren't connecting with the fish. Still we ended up with a few fish each, most on the small apart from Tommy's wrasse. I took a pic which doesn't do the size of the fish justice, will have to get myself scales.
