Thu Jul 02, 2009 1:52 am

People: Bruce and myself

Duration: 2 hours

Tide: falling to lw

Weather: misty cleared to sunshine, dead calm

Bait: limpet and mackerel

Rigs: wrasse rigs, floats and leger

Results: 2 wrasse for me, 2 spider crabs for bruce

Report: just a quick recce session on marks offered by another Mayo resident, nice spot, past carrowmore harbour, parking for 3 cars, long trail along cliffs, looks interesting.

not a mack to be see in all of Clew Bay (and we would have seen them!)

Limpet did the trick, mackerel fished 2 metres alongside only brough in crabs...

FWIW
