Fished under George's Head Kilkee. Calm conditions allowed access to a low rock platform.
Had 2 Pollock follow the fly and turn away in a flash of bronze!
Finally nailed this big fella after a struggle to keep him out of the kelp! Had one other smaller Pollock.
SWFF is mental!

right thats it my sinking line is going on my reel havnt got one pollock on my setup with floating line even though i use a long leader and a weighted fly ,i think i,ll invest in one of those okuma reels with the two spare spools then i,ll have three lines with me instead of one

Nice pollock well done on the fly hope your getting on well with the fly rod etc its great craic fishing for them on the fly

Ill head out this evening in North Clare there is one huge fudder mucker in around that mark near fanore ill nail him some evening lol
