people- me
duration- 4.5hrs
tide- push
weather- not too warm, not too cold, not too calm or rough either, just right
rigs- float
bait- maggot
results- 20 mini flounder, 6 mini dabs, 1 shanny, 2 sandgobies, 4 very mini pollack, a mini mini mini mullet and a silver eel.
report-
i headed down today hopeing for a normal millisle lagoon flattie session with 10-15 flatties or so on the float, managed plenty of flatties in the first hour with nothing else, until a shoal of very small mullet moved in, managed one, i then got my smallest ever pollack and another 3 followed i then spotted a silver eel in close, so i dangled my bait in very close for a few seconds when it took, got it in, another species down!
this was followed by more mini flatties a couple of sand gobbies and i finished with a shanny.

fish tight to the bottom, pollack keep close in, with the odd coalie, different spots around millisle are best to be fished with different baits and rigs.

top tip is to fish at dead depth, if you have coarse gear, it works just as well as sea gear.
