Weather:foggy then clearing a bit

Bait:mackerel,squid,lug,limpets,feathers

Rigs:float rig,two hook flapper,feathers

Results:1 mackerel




Report:
tried a different part of the bay that i never fished before,walked 2 miles of the shore fishing as i went,only one mackerel caught but saw a few spots that should be good for pollack and wrasse and conger,saw a seal swimming around so must be fish some where
saw a few arches along the cliffs,didn't think there were any around clifden

Some super photos there, and with scenery like that who needs to catch fish

nice photos and at less you got a bit of bait

nice one man. some really fishy looking marks there, and considering the walk to them you'll get a bit of peace to fish without having to untangle feathers from your gear all day

i will be awhile filling the freezer the way i am going

looks fishy alright,the water is deep,a few spots looked good for wrasse and pollack,conger and maybe a bass,not sure what kind of ground bass like but last year i was down in cork at roches point and saw lads fishing for bass on similar ground
was fishing on the outgoing tide cant wait to try it on the incoming tide

well done on the mack that looks like a lovely spot
