Spent a lovely weekend with hiking club, based in Glengarrif, but made sure to get in some fishing from Aghadoe to Dursey Sound on a splendid, gloriously sunny Sunday. Only getting to post photos now...so here goes, my very first report

Weather: 26C; clear skies, calm seas
Tide: rising
Time: 12 - 4.15pm
Rig: various - most 2 and 3 hook self made flappers plus beads
Bait: rag, lug, frozen mack
Results: 1 Doggie + 2lb B.Wrasse at Aghdoe; 4 large B.Wrasse at Dursey SoundWhat a great fishing session, right from the off and when the sun shines in S.W Cork, it's
simply wonderful for shore angling. Certainly beats the frustration of east coast (Greystones, yeah despite Eyesreilly! and Dublin) sporadic puny catches..I'll certainly be back later..and this time for sea bass..Would highly recommend a visit if you're in this part of the world
